The ship has been very busy lately. We have three days until we get to Morocco. After that, all that is left in any finals that people may have. I have two exams on the first day back, but nothing else. On the second exam day, that is when SAS is hosted the Alumni Ball. Now, I remember why I packed a dress. This isn’t going to be a regular ball though. Supplies is limited on the ship. Some people have been buying different dresses in port. Some bought traditional cultural dress that they plan to use. Me, I just brought one of my sister’s dresses. Then after that is re-entry convocation. Not really sure what that entails, but I am assuming it is going to be a whole lot of tips on how to integrate back into home life. I don’t think I will have a problem transitioning. This isn’t my first time coming home after being away for a semester. I understand life moves on around me. Others on the ship though, this is their first time traveling for this long. They may have a harder time adjusting. Next comes the packing day, and right after that, we find ourselves in Hamburg.

Now, like I said before, I am so ready to come home. It has been great, but I am so mentally and physically exhausted. There is one more awesome thing I get to do before I get home though. While in Hamburg, I get to meet up with my high school friend Harley, who I haven’t seen since we graduated. It is going to be so nice to catch up with her.

I have so many stories to tell when I get home, that I could not due justice writing about. I feel like you would need to hear the tone of the words, to fully grasp to emotions of these stories. I cannot wait to share them with anyone that is ready to listen.

Days until I get home: 13
