Last Week

Okay, so I have slacked off slightly with updates this past session. That is partly because I kept forgetting and partly because this session has been very unorganized and we never knew what we were doing, in order for me to make a post.

This session has been, basically, one big review of the previous three sessions. We have explored the different ecosystems, species abundance, and some statistical analysis. However, there really is not much else to talk about this session. Nothing special happened that did not happen in previous sessions. In fact, most of our plans for this session got changed or cancelled due to the lack of organization and planning ahead on behalf of the professor.

Today, however, we did save a shorebird that was entangled in fishing line, so that was pretty rewarding. Other than that we have been writing informal lab reports and waiting until Friday when we can finally go home.

I have learned a lot this summer, but I am ready to go home.
