Crazy Week

This week has had a lot going on.
On Tuesday, thanks to the calmness of the water, we were finally able to go out in the bay to all 5 COBY stations to collect oceanographic data. This trip took about 6 hours.
Then on Wednesday, we got the tedious pleasure of data crunching everything we got. There were about 6 instruments that we used and all of them had multiple sets of data. We create tables and graphs for pretty much all of them, and then we have to compare the data to each other.
Today, we are starting day 2 of data crunching. This gets nerve-wracking when we are all in the same room and everyone has questions about everything, and no one knows the answer.
The schedule for tomorrow is unknown at this moment, but I have a feeling it is going to involve more data crunching.
In non-academic news, this morning at 05:30, a group of us went off campus to watch NASA launch a sounding rocket. This rocket's purpose is to test the conditions in the atmosphere. The launch happened very quick, and so I was unable to get pictures of it. But, hey, I have seen NASA launch a rocket.
