Day One at Wallops

So today was move in day at Wallops. I am in the Salicornia Dorms, second floor of course. I live in a suite with four rooms and two girls to a room. My roommate is super nice and we get along great. Today, after check in and unpacking, we had dinner and orientation. Dinner was good. We had layered ravioli, mixed vegetables, and cornbread. There is also a salad bar, fruit, cereal, and desserts. After dinner was orientation, which was basically all the rules, and also a must appreciated tour of the field station. Tomorrow starts day one of classes. My class for this session is Marine Biology with a professor from Kutztown. My roommate goes the KU, and she said the professor is great, so I am excited to meet her tomorrow. Our syllabus has us talking about the first 5 chapters in our textbook and doing a little lab tomorrow. However, I am excited for the kayaking trip on Thursday.

More to come.
