End of Week Two

Today, we had our second exam. I did a lot better on this one than the first. After the exam, our professor reviewed some statistical analysis test on excel with us, since we needed to use them for our report due Sunday. My lab partner and I have almost completed our report. The only thing left is adding the graphs and tables that we already made, and adding captions to them, which we will most likely do tomorrow.

In the afternoon, my professor took us on an optional field trip to the boat docks to check out this new piece of equipment. She had gotten it from a fellow professor who will be coming to the field station second session. It is an underwater video camera, with recording capabilities. It was really fun to play with. While at the docks, I also got a few photos in my own pictures in, which have been added to the photo gallery.

Tomorrow, a few of us are going to go to Wallops Beach to do a beach cleanup. There was more interest in the beach cleanup at the beginning of the session, but most people have their own cars, so they want to go to the beach on their own schedule, instead of by the field station's schedule. Which is completely understandable. However, the beach we are going to for the beach cleanup is restricted access. You need a special badge to get through the gate, because if I am correct, the beach runs along the navy base.

Update on Harold: still living in the room. Still waking me up before my alarm. The power of a fly.
