Okay, so, a few days ago a fly got into our room, and now he refuses to leave. We have tried leaving the door open in hopes that he would just leave on his own, but that was unsuccessful. Contrary to the saying, he is most definitely not a fly on the wall. He flies around all over the place. He is always flying into our faces. And whenever he is near your ear, he ALWAYS makes the little buzzing sound flies make. So far, since he has been in our room, every morning he buzzes in my ear before my alarm goes off. I will be sure to update you about Harold's activities if he remains in the room.
Anyway, today was dissection day! We dissected bony fish and a shark. I will post pictures, but they will be under a different page. So do NOT click the dissection tab. if you don't want to see the pictures from dissection. It did not smell as bad as when I dissected a cat in high school, but it was just as gross. We were comparing the anatomy between the two classes of fish.
Tomorrow is exam #2. I am feeling pretty good about this one. Most of the stuff the test is going to have on it is stuff I learned in previous classes. So hopefully, it will just be a review. Also, tomorrow we will be going down to the boat dock to take video observations. This is not part of the class. Our professor is doing her own research, but she offered the opportunity for the rest of us to come as an option field trip. There is no stress involved, just fun scientific observation. I will be taking both my water proof camera and my regular camera to get more pictures for you guys to see.
Time to decompress for the night.
