Kayaking and Fantastic Beasts

Today started off with a kayaking trip in Maryland State River Park. I have gone kayaking with the program before and so helped with the unloading and loading of the kayaks from the trailer. Well, while setting up the kayaks at the boat launch, I sort of slipped on the mud covered boat launch and busted my knee slightly. Everything was okay though since the injury was not hospital worthy. During the kayaking trip, we saw many turtles. The types of turtles we saw were box turtles, red eared sliders, and painted turtles.

After the kayaking trip, we returned to campus and finished our reports for class that were due on Monday. That took us til about 6:00pm which is when dinner was served.

After dinner, a bunch of us gathered in the lounge to watch Fantastic Beasts and where to find them.
