Kayaking Without Mishaps

Today went a lot better than yesterday. We took the kayaks up to Pocomoke State Park. I love kayaking at this location because the water is always so calm, and there are a lot of snakes and turtles that hang out along the edges. Today we say a very large eastern painted turtle and toward the end we saw two smaller ones. Unfortunately, we did not see any snakes. But, no one sank today so that is a plus.
We came back to the field station for lunch and right after lunch had an exam. The exam was not as difficult as I was expecting it to be. The hardest thing about the exam was that some of the information was from the professor teaching in the field, and we don't normally take "notes" in the field. But most of those questions I remembered the answer to. We just finished the exam and are waiting to regroup at 2:00 pm for lecture. Today is chapter 3 and also assignment of our threat presentations. Each group will be given a threat to the ecosystem to discuss with the class.
Then, since today is Friday, we will all probably be heading out to get dinner, since dinner is not provided.
Tomorrow is the Wallops Beach Clean Up which one of the RA's host every session. As usually, I am excited and attending.
