Last Week of Session One

Monday: Kayaking and specimen identification

Tuesday: Delaware Indian River inlet - searching the intertidal zone for species and identification. This adventure was 1.5 hours away. Funny how we spent more time in the car than in the field.

Wednesday: 9am lecture about deep sea, open oceans, and polar seas. 1pm field practical part 1 - trawling on a boat. My professor will choose a species and a piece of information and we will have to write it down. For instance, if we catch a sea robin while trawling, and she points at it and says "give me the genus for this fish" then we have to write down Prionotus.

The good thing for this is that we are allowed to have out field notebook with us, so anything in our field notebook as information we can use. Most of us created an index in the back of our books, so that all of our species are in one place.

Thursday: Lab practical part 2 - watch finding nemo and answer her questions. I am thinking this should be pretty easy.

Friday: Written final exam. THEN DONE!!!
