Summer at Wallops

This summer I will be going to Virginia for the entire summer! I will be taking classes at the Wallops Field Station in Chincoteague Bay. There are four classes each of which are three weeks long. I will be taking Marine Biology, Field Methods in Oceanography, Conservation, and Marine Ecology. This is a mandatory program for me to graduate with a degree in Marine Biology.

Some activities that I will be doing is night hikes, kayaking, snorkeling, going to the beach, tracking, field surveys, and much more! I will update this blog with my activities and experiences while I am there. This is the best way to keep friends and family up to date since there is very little cell phone reception there and even less WiFi. I will be leaving on May 12th and will be returning August 9th. Keep an eye on this website for updates.
